What Leads Sniper sells

Leads Sniper sells four lead tools, each as a lifetime licence: a Maps scraper, a scraper for search results, one for a business directory, and a domain email extractor. This page compares its Maps scraper.

The Maps scraper is a browser extension. Its Edge Add-ons listing says you enter your keywords and click start, and it collects the businesses with their details and an email where it can find one.

Maps Scraper Pro does one job, collecting Maps searches, and is free. You type what you want in chat or collect the search you have open, and each business's website is read in the same run.

How Leads Sniper is priced

Leads Sniper charges once, not monthly: its Maps scraper is $149 for lifetime access and updates, and its pricing page promises no monthly fees or usage limits. A free licence for 50 leads lets you try it first.

  • More licences cost less each: 25% off for 2 to 4, 40% off for 5 to 9, and 70% off for 10 or more.
  • Buying several of its tools together takes off another 25% for 2, 35% for 3 and 45% for all 4.
  • It takes cards, PayPal and crypto.
  • Its terms of service say purchases are non-refundable except where the terms set out otherwise, so use the free licence before you buy.

What 1,000 businesses cost in each

For 1,000 businesses, Leads Sniper costs its one-time $149, since the free licence covers 50. Maps Scraper Pro costs nothing for the first list or any after it.

Because Leads Sniper is paid once, its cost per business falls the more you collect. The table spreads the $149 over larger totals.

Businesses collected in allLeads Sniper, one licenceMaps Scraper Pro
50$0, on the free licence$0
1,000$149 ÷ 1 = $149 per 1,000$0
10,000$149 ÷ 10 = $14.90 per 1,000$0
100,000$149 ÷ 100 = $1.49 per 1,000$0

Time is the other cost. In Maps Scraper Pro, 1,000 businesses is one chat request, collected in your browser, and the count card puts 200 at about five minutes.

Getting started in each

Starting Leads Sniper takes a licence: request the free one with your name and email on its trial page, and the licence key and login details arrive by email. A paid licence covers a set number of installations, and its Edge listing offers packages for 1, 5 or 10.

Maps Scraper Pro needs no key or sign-up. Add the extension to Chrome, open its side panel on a Maps search or in chat, and collect.

What each one collects for a business

Both collect the business's Maps details, its social links and an email where one can be found. Leads Sniper's listing names more Maps details, such as service options; Maps Scraper Pro adds every email, phone and fax it finds on the business's website and contact page.

Maps Scraper Pro reads the page Maps links to and one contact page, four websites at a time while the Maps part carries on. How the email reader works explains which pages it reads and why some cells stay empty.

How many businesses you can collect

Neither tool caps how many businesses you collect in all once it's set up: Leads Sniper's paid licence has no usage limit, and Maps Scraper Pro has none. The free Leads Sniper licence stops at 50.

One Maps search lists about 120 businesses, and Maps Scraper Pro's side panel and Bulk stop where that list ends. Chat goes further: when the search lists fewer than you asked for, it searches the area around the place, up to 1,000 businesses a request.

Chat has a daily message limit. When it's reached, collecting from the side panel and Bulk still works until the next day.

Where Leads Sniper is the better choice

Leads Sniper suits people who collect at volume for a long time and want more than Maps from one vendor.

  • One payment covers unlimited leads, so heavy users pay less per lead the longer they use it.
  • More details about each business, such as service options, highlights and offerings.
  • An Edge listing, for people who work in Microsoft Edge.
  • Scrapers for search results and a business directory, plus a domain email extractor, with bundle discounts.
  • Licences for several installations at a discount, for a team.

Where Maps Scraper Pro fits better

Maps Scraper Pro fits when you'd rather not pay before you know a list is useful. Every list is free, with no 50-lead trial to plan around and no key to keep track of.

It also helps after the collecting. On the results page you can keep only the rows with an email, sort by rating, rename columns and download Excel, CSV or JSON. Finding customers in your area shows how to turn the list into calls and emails.

Making the same list in Maps Scraper Pro

Where Leads Sniper asks for keywords and a start click, Maps Scraper Pro takes a sentence. Here is a list of dentists in Dallas.

  1. Step 1: Open chat in the side panel

Click the extension's icon to open the side panel, then choose Chat.

  2. Step 2: Ask for the businesses

Type "find dentists in Dallas, TX". If the request has no number, a card asks how many, from 20 up to 1,000.

  3. Step 3: Or collect the search you have open

On a Maps search, click Collect list in the side panel. It collects the businesses that search lists, to the end of the list.

  4. Step 4: Download the file

Open the list from History, keep the rows you need and export it. For several cities, paste their search links into Bulk.
